terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a firearm for service, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions, forming a binding agreement between the Customer and the Gunsmith Shop.

2. Scope of Work
The Gunsmith Shop will perform services as requested and detailed in the Work Order. Any modifications or repairs are performed at the Customer's direction.

3. Liability and Risk 

• The Customer acknowledges that firearm alterations or repairs carry inherent risks, including injury or death.  
• The Customer releases Hunter Creations, its employees, and affiliates from all liability for any damages or injuries resulting from the use or misuse of the firearm after service.  
• The Customer assumes full responsibility for firearm safety and use following service, especially when modifications have been made.  
• Hunter Creations is not liable for defects or malfunctions caused by the firearm’s prior condition, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or improper ammunition.

4. Warranty 

• Unless otherwise specified, all repairs or modifications are provided “as-is” without warranty.  
• Used firearms or consigned items are sold “as-is, where-is” with no expressed or implied warranties.

5. Customer Responsibilities 

• The Customer agrees to provide accurate information about the firearm and any requested services.  
• The Customer must comply with all federal, state, and local firearms laws relating to ownership, transport, and modifications.  
• The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hunter Creations from any claims arising from non-compliance with laws or unsafe use of the firearm.

6. Payment and Deposits 

• Deposits may be required before work begins, typically between 40% up to 50% of the estimated cost or parts total.  
• Final payment is due upon completion and before firearm release.

7. Dispute Resolution 

• Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration or according to the local jurisdiction as specified.

8. Entire Agreement
This agreement supersedes all prior agreements and representations, whether oral or written, regarding the service.

Liability waiver clause:
"I voluntarily request modifications or repairs to my firearm, understanding the risks involved including injury or death. I release the Gunsmith Shop, its agents, and employees from any liability arising from my request or subsequent use of the firearm. I accept full responsibility for safety and legal compliance." 3 7 13
